The city of Wellington Parks & Recreation Department is highly accredited and built with care for the enjoyment of Wellington families.
On October 14, 2009, Wellington Parks & Recreation Department received national accreditation from the commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA), becoming one of only eighty-eight agencies in the country and nine cities in the State of Florida currently holding national accreditation. This distinguished accomplishment was announced in Salt Lake City, Utah at the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) 2009 Congress and Exposition.
